How to use Text Search

Overview

Text Search makes it possible for you to look up the accents for all of the declinable words in an arbitrary sentence. By entering a Japanese sentence of your own or one you took from another source, all declinable words will be located for the given sentence and you can look up the accent of the conjugated form given in the sentence. Unlike the OJAD Textbook Guide version, this uses natural language processing so the performance will not be 100% accurate.

Instructions

First enter the text you wish to search in the text field. Then click 'Analyze', and all declinable words in the sentence will be extracted from the sentence and shown. A table which gives the conjugated forms of the declinable word will be given. With this mode, it is not possible to output the pitch contour or speech.
